1. {v.tr.2c}. Lament for, bewail. e.g, ya/ k. bayan wa/ne, he grieved for the death of so-and-so.
2. {v.intr.3c}.
(a) Lament, bewail, mourn. (Cf. kuka.)
(b) tun da wa/ne ya mutu rabon wani ya/ koka, through so-and-so's death some one will benefit.
