caɓal

  1. kalma mai nuna ƙazancewar wuri saboda ruwa da yawan taku. <> expresses a swampy, sloppy state.
    1. Hanya ta yi caɓal. <> The path has become swampy.
  2. {n.m.}. Being in miry, sloppy state (road, place). e.g. hanyan nan ta yi c.
  3. {adv.}.
    1. (a) In a miry or sloppy state. e.g. ya zub da miya caɓal, he threw away the soup, spattering the place with it.
    2. (b) Pointlessly. e.g. ya fa'di magana caɓal, he spoke at random.
