“My dearest Ibbu, It feels surreal to be writing this down at this moment as you’re currently settling into your new reality, our new normal. I can’t find enough words to explain how I feel right now, knowing that now our communications, interactions, and connections will be limited to mostly virtual reality. In this blessed month of Ramadan, we embark on this new journey, together as one. I must be honest with you, buddy; this is as brand new to me as it is to you. One thing I do know is that Allah is not bound by time and space, and neither is my love for you. May you never feel alone and distant from me. May you find peace in knowing that Allah is Al Wadud, the Loving, and I pray for you to grow up with the love of Allah and guided by the Quran and the Sunnah of Rasulillah SAW.”
