      Ya Allah, Ka sa na zama mai matukar godiya/godewa sosai. Maida ni mai jurewa/juriya. Maida ni ƙarami a idanu na amma babba a idanun wasu. --aw
      
      FN86: "one who is highly grateful" gratefulness is an act of the tongue as well as the heart. We must feel gratitude for the blessings of Allah SWT in our heart and we should also express it in words.... "small in my eyes..." getting respect from others has its obvious advantages; life may be difficult for the person who gets respect from no one. Further, one needs this respect to discharge his responsibilities toward them as a believer, like enjoining good and forbidding evil. However, it can also lead to pride and arrogance, which are deadly diseases of the heart. Therefore we ask for being small in our own eyes before asking for being great in the eyes of others.
      
      [Patience is the ability to accept or tolerate delay, problems, or suffering without becoming annoyed or anxious. Meanwhile, perseverance refers to continued steady belief or efforts in spite of discouragement or difficulty and is one of the most difficult qualities to develop in this fast paced and impatient world.]
      
      
   2. (92) O Allah, I ask You for forgiveness
      (٩٢) Allahumma inni asalukal-‘afwa
      1. and security in my religion, (tsaro cikin addini na) and in my worldly affairs (hidimomin duniya na), in my family and in my property.
         wal-‘afhyata fi dini wa dunyaya wa ahli wa mali.
      2. O Allah, conceal those things of mine that are worth concealing and give calm to my fears. <> Ya Allah, ɓoye waɗannan abubuwan nawa da suka kamata a ɓoye kuma sassauta abubuwan da ke ban fargaba/tsoro.
      3. O Allah, guard me (from all sides): in front and behind, on my right and on my left, and from above me. And I seek refuge in Your greatness from receiving unexpected harm from below.
         Allahummas-tur ‘awrati wa amin raw ati. Allahummah-fazni mim bayni yadayya wa min khalfi, wa ‘an yamini wa ‘an shimali, wa min fawqi, wa a‘adhu bi‘azamatika an ughrala min tahti.

   4. (96) O Allah, forgive my sins, expel my Shaytan, and redeem my pledge. Make my scales heavy and make me from among the highest class (in the Hereafter).
      96. Allahummagh-fir li dhambi, wakh-si’ shaytani, wa fukka rihani, wa thaqqil mizani, waj-‘alni fin-nadiyyil-'a‘la.
   5. (99) There is no god except You, You have no partner. Glorified are You, O Allah, I seek forgiveness from You for my sin and I beseech You for Your mercy.
      99. La ilaha illa anta la sharika laka subhanak(a). Allahumma inni astaghfiruka lidhambi wa as’aluka rahmatak.
      NOTE: Very similar to prophet Younus's dua in Quran/21/87:
      La ilaha illa anta subhanaka inni kuntu minazzalimeen.
   6. (100) O Allah, forgive my sin, make my home ample for me, and bless me in my sustenance. <> 100. Allahummagh-fir li dhambi, wa wassi‘ li ft dari, wa barik li fi rizqi. <> 100: Ya Allah, Ka yafe mini zunubai na, Ka sa gidana ya zama isasshe gare ni, ka albarkaci abubuwan biyan buƙata na.

      4. O Allah, our hearts, our foreheads, and our limbs are in Your Hand.

   2. (122) O Allah, to You is due all praise with thanks; it is only Your domain to do favors with grace. O Allah, I beseech You to enable me to perform the deeds loved by You, develop sincere reliance on You, and hold good expectations from You.
      • It is important to hold good expectations from Allah for Allah deals with a person according to his expectations. When a servant of Allah sincerely puts his trust and hopes in Him, Allah does not disappoint him.
   3. (125) O Allah, extend Your graciousness to me by turning all difficulties into ease
      125. Allahummal-tuf bi fi taysuru kulli 'asirin,
      
      for to make a difficulty easy is very easy for You. And I ask You for ease and forgiveness in the world and in the Hereafter. O Allah, forgive me for indeed You are the Generous Forgiver.
      fa inna taysira kulli asirin alayka yasirun, wa as'alukal yusra wal mu'afata fid dunya wal akhira. Allahumma afu anni fa innaka afuwwun karim. [6]
      
      
   4. (133) O Allah, make me happy with Your Will, and bless me in whatever You have destined for me so that I do not want to hasten what you delayed or to delay what you hastened. [7]looping clip

   6. (141) O Allah, I place my needs before You. Although my thoughts are deficient and my actions weak and wanting, I am in need of Your mercy. So, O the One Who decides all affairs and O the One Who heals the hearts, just as You keep the oceans apart from each other, so keep me away from the punishment of Hell and from seeking destruction (in the Hereafter, due to agonies of Hell) and (protect me) from the tribulations of the grave. (164) O Allah, my God and that of Ibrahim (Abraham), Is-baq (Isaac), Yaqub (Jacob), and God of Jibril (Gabriel), Mikal (Michael), and Israfil (Israpheel), I beseech You to accept my duas as I am distressed, to guard me in my faith as I am hemmed in by trying circumstances, to extend Your mercy to me as I am delinquent, and to ward away poverty from me as I am destitute.

      1. (171) O Allah, comfort me in my desolation in the grave.
         171. Allahumma anis wahshati fi gabri.
         Ka làllāsā̀ ko kwantar min da hankali cikin kadaici na a kabari.
      2. O Allah, have mercy on me by dint of the Great Quran and make it my leader, light, guidance, and mercy.
         Allahummar-hamni bil-Qur’anil-‘azim(i), waj-‘alhu li imaman wa ntran wa hudan wa rahma(tan).
      3. O Allah, make me remember whatever I forget from it.
         Allahumma dhakkirni minhu ma nasit(u),
      4. Teach me whatever part of it I do not understand.
         wa‘allimni minhu ma jahilt(u),
      5. Endow me with its recitation during the hours of the day and the night.
         war-zuqni tilawatahu ana’al-layli wa atrafan-nahar(i),
      6. And make it an evidence for me, O Lord of the worlds.
         waj-alhu li hujjatan ya Rabbal-‘alamin.
   5. (174) O Allah, we seek Your protection from erring; from misleading others; from doing injustice to others or receiving injustices from them;
      Allahumma inna na adhu bika min an nazilla aw nudill(a), aw nazlima aw nuzlam(a), aw najhala aw yujhala ‘alayna, aw adilla aw udall(a).
   6. 152 Allahumma inni as'aluka tamama ridwanik
      O Allah I beseech you for perfection of Your pleasure with me. [12]

Thursday

Liberate me from the state I am in, and help me against what I currently face from that which has befallen me, in the name of Your Gracious Self and by virtue of the right of Muhammad SAW on You.       ... exit from this world into Your mercy: According to a hadith, angel Jibril came to the Prophet SAW and said, Allah has commanded you to supplicate with these words so He will grant you one of the three mentioned things. O the One Who is sufficient . .. Amin: According to a hadith, this dua’ should be said when one is worried about the machinations of a ruler or shaytan. [14]

   3. (185) O Allah, turn the stray thoughts of my heart into Your fear and remembrance. Turn my aspirations and desires toward things of Your liking and pleasure. And when You try me with ease or discomforts, then make me stick to the path of truth and the Shari‘ab of Islam. [15]
